Digital Eye Testing at SamVision
Learn what to expect from computer-assisted vision assessment and prescription checks at SamVision.
Overview
Computer-assisted testing supports assessment of vision and refractive error. Equipment measurements are considered together with your symptoms and a clinician's examination; an automated reading alone is not a diagnosis.
Assessment and care options
SamVision's existing testing information includes vision testing and refraction, eye-pressure measurement and eye-health assessment. The clinician selects the tests relevant to your needs and explains the findings and any prescription or referral recommendations.
Your consultation
Bring your current glasses or contact-lens prescription and relevant reports. Explain any difficulty with distance, reading, glare or screen use. Ask the branch whether you need any specific preparation before your visit.
Relevant specialists
SamVision's Bole booking calendar offers optometrist consultations and eye-testing options. Choose Bole in the appointment page or contact another branch to confirm its available testing services.
Follow-up
After testing, the clinician will discuss the next step, which may include prescription eyewear, further examination or a review appointment. Frame selection is separate from clinical assessment.
How to arrange your visit
- Choose your SamVision branch on the appointment page.
- For Bole, use the existing Microsoft Bookings calendar. For other branches, call the listed branch number to arrange your visit.
